Impressions

The story of this work begins when the main character Yukihira Souma enters Totsuki Saryo Culinary Academy from her family’s teishokuya (set meal restaurant).

When I first saw the beginning of “Endless Wilderness,” I thought it was a standard cooking animation in the current style.

However, for some reason, the descriptive description after eating was “the clothes are disheveled (to put it quite simply),” which was honestly unacceptable to me.

But after watching it, I was wondering if I would continue to watch this film in the future? I was watching the ending, thinking, “Will I continue to watch this film in the future? Then, there was a scene that caught my attention and I changed my mind.

The characters are lined up in front of a long table, with the main character in the center of the table.

It is an unnatural scene, but it is very meaningful.

Because I felt that it was a culinary animation, and as an animation creator, I felt that it contained a tribute.

The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. It is painted in the Abbey of Santa Maria delle Grazie.

In making a culinary animation, we thought that we would not be so particular about it unless we were enthusiastic about the production.

Other scenes of food preparation and movement of ingredients in the production were also good, and combined with the unique after-dinner impression scenes, the work was well-paced and easily enjoyable.

Eventually, I found myself watching all of season 1.

Anime connoisseurs often say, “I watch three episodes of an anime anyway.

So, if you watch three episodes and it doesn’t suit you, you can dismiss it.

But most of the dishes in Season 1 are common and familiar.

I found that aspect interesting as well.

This is because it is easy to imagine the taste and realize the depth of the dish.

You can take a look if you like. “Dig in! ” It is.
